Description
This Modal Silk Ajrak Saree comes in a deep wine maroon base colour, with Ajrak-style patterns printed across the saree. The body is filled with small floral and geometric motifs, arranged closely to create an all-over design. The motifs appear in off-white, rust red, and muted black shades, forming a dense Ajrak pattern.
The saree body has continuous print without large blank spaces. The pattern remains uniform throughout the fabric, with repeated floral and star-like shapes giving a traditional Ajrak look. The print has a clean finish and consistent detailing.
The pallu section features lagdi patta style work, created with layered Ajrak patterns, floral vines, and geometric bands. Multiple horizontal design panels run across the pallu, along with a wide gold-toned zari strip near the end, followed by thin parallel gold lines. This makes the pallu more detailed compared to the body.
The borders on both sides match the Ajrak theme, with repeated floral and geometric patterns in off-white and red shades over the maroon base.
The saree is made from pure modal silk, which feels smooth, soft, and lightweight.
The entire Ajrak design on the saree is done using screen printing.
